About Us.

Charged Up to help you go farther.

Our patent pending technology supports smarter micromobility charging and community resiliency.

Our founders are operators and innovators with a passion for problem solving and experience servicing and managing the largest scooter operators in Los Angeles, CA from the beginning.

Los Angeles, February, 2018.

It all began when my teenage daughter asked me to help her earn a few bucks charging scooters for Bird.

We could see batteries empty faster and scooters multiplying every evening. We had a front row seat to the transformation about to unfold in urban  mobility.

There was so much inefficiency in collecting and distributing thousands of scooters nightly.  Charging in distant warehouses or beating up multi family housing is not sustainable on many levels.  By the end of 2018, we hung up our gloves and dedicated our efforts to supporting, not competing with, the charging community.

In early 2019 we opened our first Community Portal with support from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and The Mayor’s Office.  The Portal ran at maximum capacity through the 2019 scooter season as more were added in Los Angeles.  By the end of the year, scooters from the top three current U.S. scooter brands were charging in both Community and Enterprise Portals.

Today the experiment that was micromobility is set to transform at a rate no one could have predicted.  Reduced traffic, enclosed public transport safety, and shared vehicle concerns present a disruptive opportunity for micromobility.
